PUMA and Man City Launch ‘Definitely City’ Collection with Noel Gallagher

PUMA and Manchester City have revealed the “Definitely City” kit for the 2024/25 season, designed in collaboration with the musician and devoted City supporter Noel Gallagher. This special-edition kit celebrates the 30th anniversary of Oasis’ landmark album, “Definitely Maybe.” It takes design cues from its iconic cover.

The “Definitely City” kit will be showcased in select European matches this season. Its striking design reflects the style of “Definitely Maybe,” honoring both the band and Manchester.

The limited-edition jersey boasts a light straw base color, accented with bold blue side panels and sleeves and delicate poppy pink details on the cuffs and panels. It also features detailed marine blue wave patterns, with PUMA drawing inspiration from the album cover’s color scheme.

The kit is part of the “Definitely City” collection, created in partnership with Noel Gallagher. The complete range features a track jacket and pants, overshirt, bomber jacket, tee, polo, retro jersey, and drill top.

The collection was photographed in a living room set that resembles the “Definitely Maybe” album cover. The set featured Manchester City players Kyle Walker, Jess Park, Mateo Kovačić, and Ederson, as well as City managers Pep Guardiola and Noel Gallagher.

“I loved City before anything, I was into City before I was into music, I was into City before I knew what music was,” says Gallagher. “Definitely Maybe’ is what set us on our way, the record lasting as long, you can’t predict that kind of thing. It’s a great working class, Mancunian record – it’s real.

“When PUMA approached us at one of the games about designing a kit, it took about five seconds to agree to it. It’s the same color palette as the cover of ‘Definitely Maybe’: it’s unique, but it’s definitely striking, and I think it looks great. When you see people representing your Club, it’s important that they look good.

“Definitely Maybe’ has never lost its magic to me; I just think it’s an amazing snapshot of what we were about. With the anniversary, I’ve been listening to it a lot more than I would ever listen to it; it makes me smile – they were great times. It’s spawned a great football kit; its legacy lives on.”

The special kit comes in both Authentic and Replica versions. The Authentic jersey is made with PUMA’s ULTRAWEAVE fabric, which minimizes weight and friction for top performance. The Replica jersey retains the same standout design but has a more relaxed fit, which is perfect for fans. Both versions include PUMA’s dryCELL technology, which keeps you comfortable by wicking away sweat.

In line with PUMA’s sustainability efforts, the Replica jerseys are crafted from 100% recycled materials, excluding trims and decorations. This represents a notable advancement toward more eco-friendly production practices.

“Definitely City” Kit Debuts

The “Definitely City” kit will debut on the pitch on September 18 at the Etihad Stadium when Manchester City takes on Inter Milan and will be worn in select European Away fixtures for the remainder of the 24/25 season.

Starting September 12, the “Definitely City” collection will be available from PUMA stores, PUMA.com, City Stores (at Etihad Stadium, Arndale Centre, and Rockefeller Center NYC), mancity.com/shop, and select retailers around the world.
